St Peter’s Secondary School, Vandeikya

St Peter’s Secondary School, Vandeikya started as Jechira Community Secondary School in 1973 before it was handed over to a Catholic Diocese of Makurdi (now Diocese of Gboko) to become a Catholic Secondary School.
St. Peter’s is an all-boy institution with boarding facilities. It operates both day and boarding systems. It offers Sciences as well as Art disciplines.

Holistic Upbringing and formation

Spirituality

We highly cherish our Catholic Doctrine and aim at inculcating it to our students to attend mass and respect our cherished Catholic teachings and tradition.

Social Life

We encourage our students to take part in sporting activities like football, volleyball, Athletics and Javelin, Discuss, Table Tennis etc.

Morality

We organize on a regular basis workshops, symposia and talk/lectures which are usually facilitated by experts for the benefit of our staff and students.

We encourage our students to understand tradition and culture so that they can appreciate the difference between their own culture and Christian way of life.
